Positive: The location was great, and I don't have any major complaints about the accommodation itself, apart from the fact that it would benefit from some refurbishment. The door could also be fixed, as it currently feels like you're going to break the key while trying to get in. Negative: My main concern was the check-in process. Guests are required to sign a rental usage and liability agreement, but I found the document poorly worded, with mistakes and clauses that did not seem to be written in the clearest or most legally sound language. As this requirement was not mentioned in the property description before payment, I felt uncomfortable signing it and tried to cancel the booking and request a refund, but was unsuccessful. Ultimately, I felt pressured to sign because I was concerned about losing the money already paid. I think this requirement should be clearly communicated in the property description so that guests can review the terms in advance and make an informed decision before booking. I also share the concerns raised in another review about the extensive rules and potential additional charges relating to cleaning and leaving the apartment, as well as the conditions under which the deposit may be withheld. Taken together, these requirements made the stay feel unnecessarily stressful and restrictive, rather than welcoming.

Odličan smještaj, jako smo zadovoljni. Preporuke. Positive: Odlična lokacija, do glavnih atrakcija treba svega 10 minuta. Miran kvart. Dućani na 5 minuta pješice. Opremljena kuhina, wc uredan i topao. Savršen smještaj za 3 osobe. Jednostavnost ulaska u smještaj. Jako ugodno osoblje, odgovaraju na poruke unutar sat vremena. Odmah vrata pored mještaja su lockeri ako želite ostaviti stvari prije check in ili nakon check out. Negative: Bračni krevet je bio malo neudoban i škripao je. Malen stol za jesti, ne stanu 3 velika tanjura. No to su sitnice, sve u svemu je bilo odlično.

It is much smaller than it may appear in the photos, with very limited space to move around or comfortably store your belongings. Secondly, the apartment is located in a basement. It was cold and damp, and the air inside did not feel fresh or comfortable. I believe future guests should be clearly informed in advance that this is a basement apartment. Another major issue was the additional payments and conditions. After I had already paid for the accommodation through Booking.com, I was sent additional links for registration and payments, including an amount that was presented to me as a refundable security deposit. I paid it expecting it to be returned after check-out. However, after leaving, I was told that it was actually a non-refundable Damage Waiver. This was a very unpleasant surprise. If there are different options between a refundable security deposit and a non-refundable fee, this should be made absolutely clear to the guest before payment. There are also a very large number of rules and potential charges related to cleaning and leaving the apartment. Of course, guests should leave a property in a reasonable and clean condition, but the number of rules and warnings about possible charges made the stay feel unnecessarily stressful. For example, guests are expected to take out the rubbish before leaving, clean everything, otherwise there may be an additional charge. Finally, on the day of check-out, we were approached before 11:00, even though the official check-out time had not yet passed. This made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Overall, I strongly believe that guests should be clearly informed in advance about the very small size of the apartment, the basement location, all additional payments and whether they are refundable, as well as the extensive rules and potential extra charges.
