Stay Beneath Prague Castle Where Mozart Performed

Positive: The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to the castle and within easy reach of the Old Town. Although it is situated at the top of a hill, the walk is still manageable, even for first-time visitors. The apartment has a distinctive and charming design. The furniture is elegant, comfortable, and beautifully styled with a classic character that creates a warm and memorable atmosphere. It is clear that the apartment has been thoughtfully designed with a unique personal touch, making it an especially good choice for guests who appreciate classic interiors. Negative: Several issues prevented us from giving the apartment a higher rating. First, collecting the key was inconvenient. The key had to be picked up from another building about a nine-minute walk downhill, followed by a walk back uphill to the apartment. Although instructions had been sent in advance, the process was still confusing for a first-time visitor—especially because we arrived at night. I had to leave my family waiting outside the main entrance while I searched for the key elsewhere. This did not feel like the safest or most comfortable check-in arrangement. Once inside, our first impression was positive. The apartment has good energy, with many windows that let natural light into almost every corner. However, this feeling changed because of the numerous warning signs displayed throughout the space. There were many signs explaining what guests should not do. For example, each window had a sign warning guests not to sit on its ledge, with additional notices on the kitchen appliances and other areas. We fully respect the owner’s desire to protect the apartment and keep it in excellent condition. However, seeing signs almost everywhere made us feel restricted and uncomfortable, despite the smiley faces on some of them. It felt as though the owner was constantly present and supervising us. A single page clearly explaining the house rules during check-in would have been more welcoming and just as effective. Although the kitchen had useful items, many drawers and cabinets were locked or unavailable to guests. Overall, the apartment felt more like staying cautiously in someone else’s private home than having a comfortable space of our own. Personally, I would not book this apartment again for these reasons. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful and elegant property that may appeal to guests who appreciate its distinctive classic style and don’t mind the extensive house rules.

Positive: Cudowne mieszkanie w starej kamienicy z 1765 roku. Lokalizacja znakomita na starym mieście. Dookoła ambasady i cudowne uliczki. Dwie wygodne łazienki. Grube mury zapewniaja optymalna temperature nawet w gorace dni. Szybki internet. Negative: Brak telewizora i pralki, ale to jasno wynika z opisu, więc nie powoduje obnizenia oceny.

Positive: Very good location, close to many central attractions Negative: The first impression started not so well, with the owners not leaving the keys in the designated place. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes for them to send the keys via Uber. Then, the second problem was that the heating did not work throughout the stay, regardless of the fact that we changed it on the main thermostat. And the third issue was that on the second and third days of our stay the shower water was only cold. They tried to fix it but did not succeed. Overall, not a great experience, considering the cost of the accommodation... And the cleaning was also less than satisfactory..
